Content for Kids and Teens by Black Creators

Illustration from Carefree, Like Me! by Rashad Malik Davis

At CMA we stand with the Black community to make this world a better and more just place for the future grown-ups of the world.

As makers, thinkers, and innovators we believe that by learning together, lifting each other up, and illuminating diverse voices from diverse backgrounds, we can elevate the quality of content for kids.

As we work towards equitable representation in children’s media, on the page and the screen as well as behind the scenes, we use this platform to amplify some of the many Black creators of kids books, shows, and content.

If we’ve missed any of your favorites, please let us know on Facebook or Twitter, or through email and so that they can be added.
